Homestead Instructional Ministry is founded on the many earnest prayers of Gentleman’s Ridge Farm: Susan, Michael, and Jessie. They desired to use their beautiful acreage for God’s glory, but weren’t sure how they were being led to do this. So they fasted, and lifted countless prayers for the Lord’s will to be made known and clear.

We shared our desire and request for prayer with others, including good family friends. We prayed about how to bring God glory in the educating and nurturing of the next generation. God’s will to use our beautiful farm and buildings to help children thrive academically, learn life management skills, and grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ was undeniable.

Our daily prayer is to be a positive, life-changing influence on many children and their families in the days and years to come.
